Dr. Long Pham grew up in the area attending Beech Tree Elementary School, Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, Glasgow Middle School, and St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School. He then had a wonderful education and experience at Virginia Tech and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to receive his D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, formerly known as MCV School of Dentistry, where he graduated among the top of his class.
Dr. Long Pham is Invisalign certified and trained in Lumineers and Snap-On Smile. He has placed many successful dental implants and extracted 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) with ease. Dr. Pham is very proficient performing root canals, fillings, and crowns. In fact, local dental lab technicians say his “crowns and impressions are the BEST out of ALL the dentists” they work with.
Dr. Long Pham pursues the best continuing education courses and reads plenty of dental literature to keep up with the latest advancements in dentistry. He loves to educate his patients and provide them with the highest standard of care
Dr. Long Pham regularly volunteers at the Northern Virginia Free Dental Clinic and Mission of Mercy dental service projects because he feels it is important to help the underserved with dental care. Giving back is very important to him, and that is why he devotes a lot of time into great causes. Dr. Long Pham is an Eagle Scout, and received his Woodbadge Leadership Training for adults. He is currently an Assistant Scout Master of Troop 904 in Arlington, VA.
Dr. Long Pham and his wife, Dr. Erica Sok, live in Sterling, VA and have two daughters, Ava and Bella. Dr. Erica Sok, is a practicing dentist as well. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.
Dr. Rivera grew up in Puerto Rico and attended the University of Puerto Rico for her undergraduate studies. She went on to receive her D.M.D from the School of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico and graduated Cum Laude. After finishing her studies, she decided to gain more experience undergoing an additional year of a General Practice Residency in the Federico Trilla Hospital in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rivera has worked as volunteer dentist in missionary trips to Guatemala, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico. This experience has helped her to build relationships with people of different backgrounds. She regularly volunteers in the Northern Virginia Free Clinic in Sterling.
Dr. Thang B. Pham attended Saigon Dental School in Vietnam, and was determined to get accredited when he came to the country and become a dentist. He went to school again and got accepted to MCV School of Dentistry. He graduated in the top of his class, Cum Laude, and was known for his great clinical skills. He was awarded the Zeno Award by MCV’s Prosthodontic Department and the Dentsply International Prosthodontic Award.
Dr. Pham loves devoting his free time to non-profit groups. He has been the Dental Team Coordinator of World Health Ambassador, a group of physicians/dentist/pharmacist who do medical missions in various third world countries. He also goes to Vietnam for a dental mission with Vietnam Assistance for Handicapped. He is a friend and supporter of several organized dinners to honor Iraq war veterans from Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Dr. Pham has also been involved with the Boy Scouts of America, and has been an Assistant Scout Master for many years in a couple different troops leading and shaping the lives of many through scouting.
Dr. Pham has had ran a successful practice for more than 25 years and now is passing on his knowledge and experience to his son, Dr. Long Pham.
Dr. Dang also attended Saigon Dental School in Vietnam, and received her D.D.S. from MCV School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top of her class, Cum Laude. She is a very proficient dentist, and was given the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontic Award.
Dr. Dang is involved with several non-profit groups. She works with Operation Smile, which is non-profit group that does dental missions in third world countries and is the treasurer of World Health Ambassadors as well. She is also a friend and supporter of several organized dinners to honor Iraq war veterans from Walter Reed Army Medical Center. And Dr. Dang volunteers at the Northern Virginia Free Dental Clinic and Mission of Mercy Projects.
Dr. Dang has been practicing successfully for more than 25 years. She is known for being very kind and gentle to her patients and her patients love her for it.
